The breakfast was great, there was lots of options to choose from. You could even request your eggs how you liked them. They even offered free BBQ on a sunday night :) The beds were comfortable and had a privacy curtain. They remade my bed every day when they cleaned the room. There was an ensuite bathroom with a shower and toilet. The water was hot and there were shampoo and body wash available. You could get a towel from reception after leaving a deposit of 50k. Would stay there again if I went to Phong Nha again :)

The staff are really friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, spacious, and ours came with a balcony. Great location for getting food/drinks on an evening or visiting popular spots such as the Duck Stop during the day. The hostel also has a pool table which is great for some evening entertainment. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice family owned hostel! They offered me to eat with them, which was a great local experience. Also booked the adventure tour at the golden cave (definetly recommended because only 1 group enters the cave - no other tourist)

Location was ideal as many tour companies picked up from the location we were staying for free in order to get to the caves.

I had a wonderful stay at the Palm Lodge! The owner of the homestay is so lovely and takes very good care of his guests. We even had a family dinner to celebrate Tet (Lunar New year). The bed was very comfortable and the location was fantastic. I also got my laundry done and it was ready the same day. This place is newly opened which explains why there are only a few reviews so far, but I would highly recommend staying here!

Really kind staff and family that owned the place. The morning breakfast was really good. The rooms were super spacious and comfortable. The owner was even kind enough to give me a free upgrade to a private room with a bathroom because he said that lots of noisy Vietnamese travelers would be staying the dorm room that I was in ;) The property itself was gorgeous and its riverfront location was great. You can also rent bicycles for free there! The owner even picked me up, and dropped me off on motorbike at the bus stop in the main part of the city! I have never had a hostel with such great service!
