While it might not be the cheapest in the area, the staff makes up for the few dollars more. Nicolette and Frederico were exceptional and made me feel welcomed and like it was home. It was quiet, great location, free coffee and safe. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Montevideo

only stayed at Bohemian for less than a night, but my experience was truly amazing. Just like its name, the place carries a relaxed, artistic, and effortlessly cool vibe. The atmosphere invites you to simply sit back, breathe, and enjoy. we spent 5 nights at Youki Haus. Hostel feels very “homy”. Good location. close to las ramblas, market, cafe and buses. Well equipped kitchen and large dining room where you can easily meet other travellers. Everything is super clean. Our bedroom was small but we were just by the roof terrace so it was like an added space. Owners are very attentive and helpful. They even lended us one of their bicycle one afternoon. We would definitely go back there.

The staff and the amenities and facilities basic but good. Breakfast was a steal at $200 UYU(5.2 USD), really good with a self serve table with toaster, bread, cake, coffee, yogurt, cereals, and fruit.
