The facilities are tailored to a comfortable experience with attention to detail, even where facilities are shared. The common areas are really inviting there are regular organised activities eg Tuesday quiz night. It's secure, very clean & well kept. The breakfast is lovely. The staff are genuinely friendly & helpful.
Having a bar & simple restaurant on site is so convenient when you return from a long, dusty day. It even attracts locals to eat & drink there. I met some great locals.

Great location in the upscale Kololo neighbourhood. Unfortunately, some of the famous nearby nightlife such as Bubbles O'Leary's has closed or moved further away, but the hostel's bar & restaurant themselves are clearly a populat nightspot with locals.
