This facility has lots of Publix space. The basement has a large modern kitchen, eating area, Japanese style reading room and a laundry. The first floor has a check-in area and lovely coffee shop. My room upstairs was small but nicely laid out and the bathroom was clean if somewhat small. Honestly the hostel far exceeded my expectations. He location was excellent; near lots of restaurants and a gather space for a small market-like open area with a fre musicians. I would stay there again and recommend it to family and friends. The staff was very friendly and helped me call a taxi among other things. The cafe had an excellent selection of coffees and teas but a very limited breakfast menu. However the food I had for breakfast was delicious and I ate at other places for other meals.

It's a very unique place in taitung, very thoughtful design with a perfect view. I must say there's lots of thoughts and effort poured into making this place such a comfy and affordable place for solo travelers.

Up-to-date, clean building, fun staff who obviously loved working there and interacted with the guests like they had been friends for years. Breakfast provided. Bicycles available. Great location just block from the train station. I recommend it.

The place is clean, bathrooms are spacious and high quality, there is a free laundry machine and the boy who helped the owner was very polite and helpful. It's relatively well located as well. Overall I think it qas good value, and I would stay there again if I needed.

People are super nice and inclusive. I love how we just chill in the living room, take a shot and share our travel experience. It’s great for people who loves to make friends in their trip. The owner spent a lot of effort to make sure the place is clean and everyone enjoy their stat in ohana!

The owner and staff person were both extremely friendly and helpful. They gave lots of activity and food recommendations and also helped me call local businesses to check their hours or book things for me. The owner even gave me a ride on his scooter to the e-bike rental place because the rental place said to hurry before a tour bus was scheduled to arrive. The vibe was very homey and the owner and staff would often hang out at night and just chat with me about what I did that day and stuff. They were really easy to get along with and it was a super welcoming vibe, unlike the very transactional default of any other hostel or place to stay at. I found myself looking forward to returning to the hostel at night so I could tell them about whatever funny thing happened that day, and I felt like I could ask them for help if I ever needed it during my time there. Also there's a very cute, friendly, and quite big orange cat who lives there (but he's out of sight most of the time).

It’s located in a quiet area and it’s very close to the Taitung Art Museum. The Flowing Lake is only 10 minutes away by bike. The room and the public areas are clean. The staffs are friendly and I enjoyed chatting with them. The laundry and bikes are free to use and those had made my staying time better!
