I had an absolutely fantastic time at Lemon Garden Hostel . This hostel is located in the cozy village of Dračevo, just a short and affordable taxi ride from Skopje. The 52 lemon trees and the breathtaking view of Kitka Mountain create an incredibly relaxing atmosphere. Stanka and Damian, the owners of the hostel, are simply amazing. Their hospitality is unmatched – they make you feel like part of their family right away. The breakfast with eggs from free-range chickens was a real highlight for me. And their homemade wine they offer is definitely something you have to try! The vibe at Lemon Garden is super relaxed and family-like. Stanka and Damian are always there when you need them and truly take care of every guest. I felt so comfortable and was able to really unwind. If you're looking for an authentic and heartfelt place to stay, Lemon Garden Hostel is the perfect spot.

At Mickitos the owner Micki takes care of You; It is good service and a very nice staff. The hostel is close to the old city and all sights, and have a nice café. They arrange daytrips including Matka canyon and Kosovo if there is enough people who wants to go. The common area contributes to a socializing mood. Stay here, it´s perfect! Thank You Micki!

It's a good place to stay from all the criteria, but I very much appreciated the extra mile of the receptionist, Fabrice. I also could see how, even if there was no one there to prove himself, he was washing the room's floor (even if it looked clean already) and he was making sure the beds were clean and looked neat.
