I’m not sure where to start because I honestly loved everything about La Casa De Jardin! The property is beautiful, the breakfast and family dinners are delicious (and vegetarian), and the rooms are comfortable! I had originally just booked for one night in the dorms, but when we arrived back in Luang Prabang we booked in a queen room which was spacious and clean. Cyren deserves a very special mention as she went above and beyond to support myself and other guests, even going as far to invite us back for the family dinners on the nights we didn’t stay at La Casa de Jardin. She was extremely helpful in booking/recommending the best tours. I will recommend La Casa De Jardin to anyone who comes to Laos because I have never felt so well taken care of. Thank you for everything!

Overall good value from the cheap price and included breakfast. The hostel is very near night market and the river, easily walkable. Both the host and receptionist were all super nice and helpful to me, they helped me book a very cheap shared van to the train station and rented motorbike and were pretty happy to suggest places to check out.

lovely way to begin your day with a hot cup of tea sitting on the deck overlooking the stunning view of the river. Beds and pillows were comfortable, everything was very clean, effective light blocking curtains, good water pressure and hot showers, plus hooks to hang towels and clothes. The bed area had a handy shelf, locking box, light, and outlet. Its a peaceful and relaxing hostel, easy to meet people and in a good location. The staff were very friendly, kind and accommodating. Any problems that arose were immediately addressed and sorted out.

Honestly my favourite Mad Monkey stay so far. Had all the classic Monkey amenities - pool, restaurant, Bar, reception with booking services and TukTuks out front waiting to give you a ride into town. Maybe it's because it's a bit smaller or off the main strip of town but everything is just a bit nicer at this one. The bunks are spacious and have great storage, the hot water is there right away, the wifi works and you don't have to hike up stairs to get to your room. There is still plenty of social energy in the evening and the ride to bowling leaves at midnight!

This place is seriously amazing. The family that runs it are super accommodating, friendly, easy to communicate with, and the location is the best! I'd 100% recommend this spot. They offer everything at affordable prices. Laundry, motorbike rental,rooms,tickets to everywhere and everything. I'll definitely be back. Walking distance from everything. 30 seconds to the Mekong river, 30 seconds to the morning market, 1 min to the night market. Beds are super stable, air-conditioning and just over all a great experience. 🎁🌄💯
