The host is very hospitable, a good bunk bed, and the family dinner that happens on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday is really a great chance to also get to meet and know new people. Super helpful receptionist as well. They also offer shared van services which take you to Kuangsi Waterfalls at an affordable rate as compared to taking Tuk-tuk. Breakfast is served which is a plus point!

Stayed here at the end of October and I can say it’s one of the best hostel I’ve stayed at ! Room and bathrooms clean, free water, nice breakfast, reasonable price and incredible staff. The hostel dinner was really good (we couldn’t even finish because there was so much food !) and really allow you to meet and discuss with other people (both backpackers and people working there). I couldn’t recommend it more !

My first time experiencing a hostel setting it was great , bedrooms are very clean . Friendly and very helpful staff members i appreciated that they are willing to store your luggage while you explore even after your check out time. 10/10. Will comeback if I have a chance

Atmosphere was excellent. Very social hostel where you can meet new peoples at every time of the day. Breakfast was good and private room was good. Its located next building of the hostel but there is 30 seconds way to go to hostel area.

Large choice of breakfast ; can rent motobike easily ; can book train and bus ticket easily for another city. Air conditioner worked well an dewici as well. Big bathroom in the dorm. Staff very nice !!

I completely loved my stay at Mad monkey Luang Prabang. Everything was incredible! The staff was the most welcoming and thoughtful I ever saw, they doing for you much more than they supposed to and they made me feel like home. Mister Tom , Justin , Khamman, Song , Juan Was the people that made my stay! Highly recommended 🙃

Nice hostel near the night market. The mix dormitory has one bathroom but there are also toilets and bathrooms in the inner court so it's great. Many sinks too in the inner court (with 2 airdryers). Free water and tables and chairs to sit at the entrance so it allows people to meet and chat. Nice billiard too. The family is nice and welcoming, I recommend!
