Hostels in Varenna

This place has almost everything you could wish for a hostel! The room was spacious and clean (I stayed in a 6 persons dorm) and they have showers and toilets. The lockable closets (bring your own lock) are very spacious and they have couple of shelves in them and place to hang clothes. The beds have little reading lights and electricity outlets. There is community kitchen, laundry room (4 euros for washing and 4 euros for dryer. Also free drying racks available). The community kitchen has two big fridges, stove, microwave and all the things you need for cooking but is missing freezer and oven. However it wasn't a problem. Just take it into consideration when thinking what to cook. The breakfast was good and the restaurant staff also prepares speciality coffees such as espressos or cappucinos if requested. The staff in the hostel was always very friendly and super helpful. I got tons of good recommendations from the reception staff no matter what I wanted to do. The location is good aswell. Maybe a bit far from the coty center (20-25 min walk) but there is also a bus that stops right in front of the hostel.

Great staff, smiley, good vibe and helpful if you have any questions. Accommodates everyone, families, younger, older, party people and the quiet ones. There is something for everyone and it's very welcoming. Unreal view. Not even a 5minute walk from the ferry and bus stop. The bedrooms, toilets and bathrooms are clean and I never had to wait to go take a shower. Good food, with some homemade options so it's even more delicious and good price deals.

Very nice location and staff. Not so bad for its money. People must get that it's not hotel. You should take all cosmetics with (shower gel, shampoo, soap). Breakfast is quite small but okay.

The location on the water was amazing. The town was super cute with nice restaurants and the staff were so friendly and helpful 😄.

It is a great location, the hosts are very kind and friendly. The facilities are well equipped. The view is stunning!!
