United KingdomGuest 1. (older) recently renovated rooms,. Although asked for two beds think the main bed could have slept 3! Lots of touches around the building refer to the history of the building, the family (Noldin) and the area. Books in the room had pictures if you couldn't read the languages. I asked for gluten free items for breakfast and the Haus was able to provide that. The weather was 30°+ so the room was hot but the air con dealt with that on our return. We chose to sleep with it off and windows open. The staff we found to be not only considerate and kind. My young relative was bothered by travel sickness day 1 and the staff went above and beyond. The staff also know the region well . We arrived on a Sunday and had to collect a key from a key safe. Instructions very clear and everything worked well, however I knew that if I had a problem there was a back-up plan that was discussed with me. I loved the swifts swooping around in the morning - haven't seen them in years.
Guest 2. (younger 20) Liked the size of the room and the shower (which Guest 1 thought was wonderful too. Said room was not too hot and the general toilets on the ground floor were very nice. Loved the starry sky
Anything else? I have already recommended it to some people we met while having dinner. I would happily visit again and for longer. We stayed in the Herrenhaus, the main part. A great start to our holiday though our photos were of the area not the room - sorry
