Hostels in Flores

This hostel has everything: a great restaurant, a nightclub, a travel/tour agency. Stayed in the AC dorms that are needed in the warm and humid Flores, and there were bathrooms and showers in the room. Small lockers to store your valuables (bring your own padlock). There were also a lot of shared bathrooms/showers, but I didn't really use these. The common area was large with a pool table, lots of seating, and some hammocks. Was fortunate to be able to join the promotional first trip with their new boat for free, only paid for drinks. Everyone working there were really friendly and helpful, and I booked my Sunrise tour to Tikal as well as my shuttle to Belize using their agency. Also, I ate multiple meals in their restaurant. My favorite was the panini with beef and chimichurri. There is also a shared kitchen in the common area to make your own food. The common area closed at 10 PM, which was nice, so there wasn't too much noise late at night. Every night, there was some activity, and I attended the beer pong, fusball, and pool tournament. Stayed in a total of 5 nights, and If going back to Flores, this is the place I will stay at.

The bed was very comfy, the staff were helpful, the facilities and location were great. (and great breakfast, pancakes and fruit)

Clean, friendly with very nice views over the lake. Great outdoor spaces to enjoy a drink and or swim! The breakfast is simple but tasty.

The host couple was exceptionally flexible (cancellation, extension, extra day – everything went smoothly, and we were lucky with their booking calendar). They made our stay memorable with their good humor, helpful tips, and—on request—very delicious food. The city center of Flores is a bit of a walk, but easily reachable by tuk-tuk, so the tranquility of the rooftop terrace more than makes up for it. Recommended.

this place definitely deserves to get 10 points! the hosts are super friendly and always available. the room I stayed in (nr 5), was great: spacious, with an own toilet and an own seperate shower. plus, every bed has its own fan and beds are made on a daily basis. in addition, the buffet style breakfast is amazing.
