During my stay, I experienced an unfortunate incident where I lost my passport and suitcase in the car parked outside the hostel. It was a stressful and overwhelming situation, but the staff, especially the receptionist Melina, went above and beyond to help me. Melina was incredibly kind and empathetic from the moment I reported the issue. She expressed genuine concern for my loss and offered her full support. What truly stood out was how the hostel allowed me to extend my stay for free while I arranged for a temporary passport. This gesture of kindness made a difficult situation much more manageable and truly made me feel cared for. I cannot thank Melina and the team at the hostel enough for their compassion and generosity during such a challenging time. Their support not only helped me practically but also emotionally. I highly recommend this hostel for its exceptional customer service and the warmth of its staff.

The location is very central - close to everything with plenty of nice cafes and restaurants nearby. The hostel is very very clean. It is a very small hostel feels almost like a B&B in comparison to hostels abroad. It has a lovely vibe about it. Facilities are all new and modern. The staff at the hostel are so kind and friendly. I had such good chats with Anastasia (I'm definitely not spelling this correctly and I apologize). He was so welcoming throughout my stay here and helpful with all my queries. Even on my last day here himself and his other coworker helped me out so much with superglueing my suitcase back together and then when i got superglue all over my hands helped me remove it lol. The beds are extremely comfy and clean which is a priority. They are actually v big for single beds. Kitchen facilities are brilliant. Lovely hostel, lovely energy here and honestly a 10/10 experience being here. I couldn't recommend enough and I will be back!

The staff were incredible! The front desk being open 24/7 really helped because you always knew there was going to be somebody there when you needed assistance. They were happy to answer any questions you might have and you could store your luggage in their luggage room if you had a long time between checkout and your flight. Location was in between Omonia and Monastiraki so everything was close by and easily accessible, felt a little unsafe the first night because the area seemed a bit sketchy but you got used to it and the location turned out to be amazing! The rooms were cleaned every day and the beds were clean and neatly made when you arrived to check in. You also had a spacious personal locker in your room, but you have to bring your own lock for it. I didn’t participate in any hostel activities, nor did I go up to the rooftop, I just slept in my room. This was not because it didn’t seem interesting enough to try out but because I was always out sightseeing so I didn’t have time. Therefore I have no feedback to give on that but I heard from my roommates that they were happy and content with the activities planned by the hostel:) All in all a very nice experience for my very first hostel stay. Thank you so much, I will definitely be returning!

Bedbox is super place for solo or couples. Quite and very central, it has everything one needs for a short or a long stay in Athens. Strong Wifi and very friendly staff, especially Sophia who is not only friendly and attentive, but super helpful too. Just like the rest of the hostel staff I' ve come across during my 4 day stay there. I'll definitely come back here, as Athens is always magically in Autumn.

Amazing hostel! Super high vibes from all the staff, really well located right in the heart of of Athens and close walking distance to all main attractions.
