Rihanny at the front desk is a total star. Calm, pleasant, warm and helpful she made our stay exceptional. The hostel was a joy, wonderful grounds with a resident sloth (Raoul), a number of agouti and most wonderful...the red straberry dart frogs. There are flowers at every corner and the trees and lush vegetation add ambiance and privacy. They have a good system for food storage in the shared kitchen and a nice little pool area.

This place is awesome!! I loved the vibe. Everyone from the staff was super nice, and they really made me feel part of a family. Across the road, you'll be on a beautiful beach with many activities and relaxing spots. I've been here for 2 nights and and I regret I didn't stay a bit longer.

I highly recommend visiting this place—Pablo, the owner, makes you feel right at home. The rooms are comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped, and they offer free coffee. The facilities are being renovated, and the cleanliness is noticeable throughout. Plus, the natural surroundings draw you in, with two friendly pets and plenty of open spaces to enjoy a getaway from the city and breathe fresh air. It's my favorite spot in Puerto Viejo. I arrived as a guest and left as a friend.

This Hostel made me feel the meaning of the Costa Rican "Pura Vida". The location is comfortable and clean. Recommended for every type of traveller. I sleeped in the dorm with the Hammocks. It's possible to hang up your own or the one from the hostel. 1 night in a Hammock from the hostel is 6$ and the price is super fair.

Beautiful and relaxing hostel in Puerto Viejo. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The hostel felt very safe too. There are hammocks to relax in and the outdoor kitchen is really well-equipped with everything you need.

Beautiful location on the beach- feels like it’s in the jungle although it’s so central🌿 I love the outdoor kitchen and whole place is just very relaxed, cozy and clean. There’s a trail right outside that leads to endless private beach spots and a viewpoint after 10 minutes walking. The hosts were so welcoming and kind. Sometimes they make a bonfire and cook pizza or something else for free(!!) We originally came for one or two nights but ended up staying for over a week- I definitely recommend this place☺️💛
