Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Every room comes with a balcony with views of the lake. Feels like home. Rooms are super comfortable and clean. It is an authentic Vietnamese homestay with a lovely family. Just out of the city, you can feel like a local. Lee and his family are very welcoming and can help with anything you need. They speak english too. There are also some shops, restaurants and even cheap public transport near by. It is just nice to stay away from the extremely busy city center. Highly recommend it. I ended up spending a week here.

Everything listed was accurate, and the location was amazing. Best of all, Mr Tri was an awesome host — friendly, helpful, and made the stay really easy. Would definitely recommend if you're after something with local character and a great vibe.

Located in Hanoi, 1 km from Imperial Citadel of Thang Long and 1 km from the centre, Huong’s Family homestay provides air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a garden. The property has inner courtyard and quiet street views, and is 1.2 km from Ha Noi Railway station. The homestay features family rooms. Loved my stay here. Rooms are basic but have everything you need, it was a really good size and the bed was super comfy. Everything was clean and the aircon worked really well. The shared bathroom was only shared between two rooms and was clean with good toiletries. The owner was super helpful and waited for me to arrive on a last minute booking. The location is also great, just behind train street, with a big convenience store just across the street and lots of other useful shops/restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommended and wish I'd stayed here rather than the more expensive but rubbish hotel I used on my previous stay.
