Communicating was a bit hard, I mostly spoke to Han, and he always made sure I was okay. Homestay was a bit a far away from markets or anything else, but you should know that it’s mostly countryside. The good thing is they offer to use the bicycles for free or you can rent the scooters for a fee as taxis or grab are pretty hard to catch one.

Duyen is the best host I’ve had in Vietnam, she was so kind and lovely! She was my guide for the whole time and she took me to all the nicest and most beautiful places around Bến Tre told me about the culture ans how local people live. I had the best experience in Vietnam and I wish I stayed longer! My room was just in front of the river, the whole place is perfect to chill out, there’s a few hammocks and it’s pretty quiet. Duyen can lend you a bike or scooter to get around and I really recommend doing it as well as one of the tours that she run. It was the most relaxing experience I’ve had here, so nice!

Phuc Sinh Homestay in Ben Tre biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de tuin, gratis fietsen, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een bar. Phuc Sinh Homestay was wonderful! The setting, structures and landscaping just lovely with great attention to detail and lots of quaint little spots to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The meals were delicious, generous and great value. Everything was clean and well cared for. Plenty of hot water, drinking water and even a fridge of cold beverages that you could help yourself to and just add to your tab. But the absolute best part was the owner Minh and his wife , brother and staff. They were MORE than helpful. They provided great instructions on how to get there and had us picked up promptly. It was very hot the day we arrived and they took pity on us melting Canadians and upgraded us to a room with air conditioning at no extra cost! They booked our tour, all the different transport to our next destination and even provided photos of what to look for .And when our phone charger died they sent brother to town to purchased what we needed so we didn’t have to spend half our day trying to find a phone store, deal with the language barrier and probably have a very difficult day. This Homestay goes above and beyond to make there guests stay memorable and stress free. The whole staff came to wish us well on our journey and say goodbye. We felt like we were leaving family.

Quoc Phuong Riverside Homestay ligt in Ben Tre met uitzicht op de tuin en heeft een restaurant, een gedeelde keuken, bar, tuin, buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open is en terras. Everything was perfect! Little paradise in the coconut jungle on the river. The bungalows are simple and cleaned and provide everything you need. They serve fresh made free breakfast and there is a restaurant service for the evening. We dined here every evening during our 3 nights stay and the food was always delicious. The ladys working there are really nice and work really hard, you can see that they like what they do. The owner is friendly and ready to help and can speak a really good english. Thank you for the amazing stay!

Mekong Home wordt beheerd door een familie en ligt aan de rivier Ham Luong in Ben Tre. Perfect location surrounded by coconut palms. One of the best food we had in Vietnam. All staff very friendly. We were offered nice tours and free bikes. Nice pool. Highly recommended!

Bikes to rent for free. Butterflies everywhere. All family run and environmentally friendly. Don’t expect luxury, expect amazing authentic and serene place, where you get some amazing rest an eat as fresh as it gets.
