The hostel is very well organised, the staff is very knowledgeable about the Colca Canyon. We were backpack hiking for two days and we got great recommendations from the Pachamama staff about which hike to do and where to sleep. Originally we planned to sleep in a tent, but we were very glad that we have followed their recommendations and left the tent at the hostel and slept at Llahuar Lodge instead. The hostel goes quiet in the night around 9-10 pm and starts to get busy around 6 am, which for us worked perfectly. The room was warm and the shower was hot. We were happy about the transport that they offer from Cabanaconde to Cusco. There is also a little store at the hostel were you can find different paintings, pottery and so on made by local artists. It is a great place to find some special souvenirs.

I arrived in Arequipa at 5:30 in the morning, luckily my bed was available and they let me check in early to get some sleep. Comfy bed and hot showers. I'm really glad I chose to stay here

Johanna, the receptionist, is very friendly and always does her best to solve any issues and be supportive. We did experience a few issues, some of which have also been mentioned by other guests.
