We stayed two nights at Overvoll Farm to explore the area of the Geiranger fjord. Upon arrival we were immediately charmed by the looks of the guesthouse and its interior. A perfect combination of old style tradition combined with modern comfort. Our host Hege Kristin made us feel very welcome. We had breakfast twice and one evening dinner. Both breakfast and dinner were great! An large variety of products to choose from, and many were home made. I tried some (for me) unusual combinations, and everything was very tasteful. Dinner was great too with local hunted deer stew and home grown vegetables. In between we also had some great conversations with Hege Kristin. Our host didn't make us feel like welcome guest, but she spoiled us like royalty.

The Atlantic Ocean Road is 25km away. It was a very unique and pleasant experience . The location , the friendliness of staff , every thing was wonderful . Serene , peaceful , quiet !

As we were the only customers during that night, we had full "private" access to the entire facilities (jacuzzi, extremely large TV and excellent sound system, small fitness room, kitchen,...). Quiet like no other place, very comfortable beds. Kitchen is very well furnished, clearly stuffed by someone that uses it themselves. The amount of facilities is outstanding.
