We booked last minute for just one night, we were lucky to find the Terrace, a small, simple and incredibly peaceful place. The room was clean and spacious, overlooking the valley, good breakfast. Host Ashan is incredibly kind and helpful. Location is a 9 min tuktuk ride from the heart of Kandy (the hotel has one) which is absolutely worth it to enjoy the view and peaceful stay at Terrace Kandy. Thanks again Ashan and everyone who took care of us.

So that is probably also the one more reason why we prolonged our one night stay in to two nights. The place is cosy, very clean and modern arranged. Kandy Food Lovers Home Stay by AGS bevindt zich op 4,4 km van Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens en biedt een tuin en een gedeelde lounge. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een terras en gratis WiFi. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted not just as guests, but truly as friends. The warmth and hospitality of Sudesh’s family made this one of the most memorable stays of our trip. The food was absolutely delicious – all home-cooked meals prepared with love by the owner’s family, and every bite felt like a taste of authentic Sri Lankan home life. The guesthouse is located a little outside the busy town of Kandy, which turned out to be a big plus – peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, making it a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the entire atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We left with full hearts (and stomachs!), and we would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine and heartwarming stay in Kandy!

Namaya Nature ligt in het centrum van Kandy, niet ver van Bogambara Stadium en Treinstation Kandy. The house is like a flower vase, surrounded by a beautiful garden, which is maintained adorably by the owner. Architecture and interior inside the house is something amazing. The serenity, specially if u seat quietly in the balcony at night, is mesmerizing. The owner is very welcoming and cordial. Breakfast was good too.

Kande Home is gelegen in het centrum van Kandy, op 1,9 km van Kandy Museum en 1,9 km van Sri Dalada Maligawa, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, airconditioning en toegang tot een tuin met een... De gastheer Shantha en zijn vrouw Amaa (ik hoop dat ik het goed schrijf) waren fantastisch. We kregen een heel warm welkom en hebben ons ontzettend thuis gevoel tijdens ons verblijf. Amaa kan overheerlijk koken, elke ochtend kregen we een heerlijk ontbijt. Ze hadden wat mooie handgemaakte kleding van een bevriende kledingmaker liggen voor een goede prijs, dus als je nog een leuk kledingstuk zoekt kun je hier tussen kijken. Het huis is mooi en schoon, net als de gastenkamer en de badkamer. Het uitzicht vanaf het balkon is ook top! Kortom een perfect verblijf in Kande, als je de kans krijgt zou ik hier zeker een tijdje overnachten. Aanrader!

Our stay at Mountain View Guest House was truly a dream come true, a perfect 10/10 in every way! We came here for our honeymoon, and from the moment we arrived, everything felt magical. The room was clean, cozy, and beautifully arranged, with a breathtaking view of the mountains that we could enjoy right from our window. We absolutely fell in love with the peaceful and scenic atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax and create unforgettable memories together. But what made our experience truly special was the owner, Kanu. He is one of the kindest, most genuine people we’ve ever met. He went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and exciting as possible. Whether it was offering us rides in his tuktuk to explore the area, stopping at beautiful spots for us to take photos, or simply checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, Kanu was always there with a big smile and a warm heart. His son was just as lovely and helpful, making us feel like part of their family. The hospitality, the stunning views, the peaceful surroundings, and the love and care we received made this trip one we will cherish forever. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our honeymoon. Everything about Mountain View was mesmerising, peaceful, and perfect. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, with people who truly care, and views that will stay with you forever, Mountain View is the place to be. Nothing not to like, perfect for a short stay. Friendly owners and staff, clean and comfortable. Even had a needle and thread when I needed to fix a hole in some trousers! Very responsive. Also lovely breakfast and views. Would stay again.
