I recommend the curry, fried bananas and coconut shake 😍 You are in a quiet place and you can rest for a few days. The lonely beach with a lovely sunset is not far away and there is also the fishing village right next door. You can also rent a kayak for 3$ to access beautiful beaches. 🏝️☀️

Thanks to John we gained 1,5days of out time in the island <3 - location of Blondies is at the end of the infrastructure, so it was calmly there, - great restaurant nearby - room was specious, bed was comfy - there was a fridge in a room and huge jug of water which was super helpful because we didn't have to buy water throughout our stay - John told us about wonderful snorkeling place and lent us glasses for free, so we had a wonderful time watching fish

We absolutely loved our time on koh rong sanloem and at Sam’s guesthouse. She was absolutely amazing and helped us with anything we needed. She gave us loads of information about the island, recommended places which were good to eat and any events that were happening and she was always up for a chat. We wanted to stay an extra night as we loved it and she happily accommodated us at a discounted price which was fab! The room was lovely, and perfect for what we needed for a few nights. The rooms do get quite hot obviously but there is a fan. It’s in such a good location too, a couple minute walk to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants around. If you’re thinking of staying on koh rong sanloem I would highly recommend here! The island does experience some power cuts but they didn’t last long at all and weren’t an inconvenience for us, but it’s not any of the hotel/guesthouses fault so don’t blame them for it.

It was a great place to lay our heads for the night (: It was also very clean which is always great!
