The room we had was fantastic with a lovely bathroom and big comfortable bed. The helpfulness and friendliness of the hosts was great. The breakfast was also an added bonus.

At the homestay, each unit is fitted with a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, bed linen and towels. A patio with an outdoor dining area and mountain views is offered in all units. All units will provide guests with a dishwasher. Richie was easy to communicate with, although we didn't really need to as the instructions were clear and easy. The place was absolutely immaculate, and the room was huge compared to other B & B style stays we have used in Ireland. Out of town, so not caught up in the business of downtown Dingle.

Situated on the seafront, the property is just 8 minutes' stroll from Dingle Harbour, 6 km from Gallarus Oratory and 12 minutes' drive from Conor Pass. It was amazing. We ordered the eggs benedict and the pancakes; they were dreamy. They also had a big buffet with sweets, croissants, scones, jams, and cereals. The coffee was perfect, too. They had a chocolate cake all night, which was helpful :) The room was very comfy, with everything you expect in a hotel. The shower was hot and had good pressure.

The family run An Portan Guesthouse is situated in Dún Chaoin on the edge of the Dingle Peninsula.

The rooms at An Portan are all at ground floor level and are arranged in a courtyard style. Each room has its own entrance door, en-suite bathroom,TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The host is amazing, she made us feel very welcome and gave us some maps and guides of things we could do in the local area. Exceptional breakfasts, would highly recommend this B&B.

The room was like in the photos. The breakfast was okay.

It started with a fast accommodation of our dietary preferences, which I shared quite late. Dermot went out of his way to make our stay memorable, including an incredible guided tour around Sleigh Head peninsula. We will most certainly be back as we have enjoyed our stay immensely. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Dingle!
