Just a few steps from Anstruther’s harbour and marina, with views over the Firth of Forth, The Waterfront offers 4-star bed and breakfast accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Its à la carte restaurant has a charming modern glass and timber frontage. The rooms were beautifully renovated. So comfortable and plenty of space. Great location on the waterfront of quaint Anstruther. Breakfast was lovely the next morning too. Our favorite place on our two week trip to Scotland.

Featuring a garden and views of inner courtyard, The Cairns Leven is a recently renovated guest house located in Fife, 27 km from St Andrews University. It is situated 27 km from St Andrews Bay and provides luggage storage space. The guest house features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. The location is perfect. Everything is within walking distance whether it's the bus station restaurants shops or the beach. I throughly enjoyed relaxing on the front porch of the Cairns and watching the ocean. Michelle is an attentive and wonderful host. Couldn not have asked for a better place to stay.

Annandale Guest House is situated in St. Andrews, 500 metres from St Andrews University, 5 km from St Andrews Bay, and 21 km from Discovery Point. It is located 600 metres from West Sands Beach and features luggage storage space. The guest house also provides free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. Breakfast was delicious. Very friendly n helpful host they just added a personal touch. Room was comfortable and clean.

Beautiful accommodations, very clean, friendly and supportive staff, excellent breakfast, view of the sea and gardens, walkable to the seashore, cafes, groceries, pubs and restaurants.

The family renting the place were super nice and with great recommendations.

Situated in Anstruther, 200 metres from Billow Ness Beach and 15 km from St Andrews Bay, The Blue Loft features accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. This recently renovated guest house is located 16 km from St Andrews University and 37 km from Discovery Point. A public car park is located nearby. Perfect location, great view, very clean & cute loft. Like other reviewers mentioned, if you’re aware of the quirky nature it can be a perfect fit.

Featuring a patio with garden views, a fitness centre and a garden, Ailim House Serviced Cottage Escape, around the corner from the Old Course can be found in St. Andrews, close to West Sands Beach and less than 1 km from St Andrews University. A hot tub and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. I am rarely wowed, but this cute cottage really had it all. My pre-arrival questions were answered immediately, and with a nice personal touch, and the location is perfectly in between the Old Course and town. It was very nice having so much room and separate sleeping areas, and the laundry was essential to our ability to pack light. The host was there at a moment’s notice when we needed anything, and was generous with checkout and bag storage while we waited for our train. Although we didn’t try the breakfast the menu pictures looked amazing, and I keep wishing we would have tried it. I think my favorite part was the bed, sooo comfortable with what I think was a weighted blanket that made drifting off very easy. I can’t recommend this place enough, and would be delighted to return!
