The Mango guest house was an incredible and authentic experience in Elephantine Island. The staff, the facilities and the settings were fantastic. The staff arranged everything what we asked for: a car from Luxor, a trip to Abu Simbel, food delivery and a felucca sailing trip. It’s not for everybody, though. If you’re a 5-star hotel frequent visitor, this is not for you.

JJ Guesthouse ligt in Aswan, op 22 km van Aga Khan Mausoleum en minder dan 1 km van Nubisch Museum, en is voorzien van gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. I know JJ since 1995, he was a feluccacaptain. He still organizes trips but has als opened this lovely place. Nice and neat rooms, with silent AC. Great rooftop eating place for breakfast and lunch. And you're on elephantine Island!

Mahmoud was a great host and made all he could to arrange everything 🙏 This place provides laundry services, transfers, great tours and so on. Even hair cuts, henna tattoos if you need. Actually they try to provide everything you wish. Our room 203 (without balcony) was very comfortable. Also a big thanks to Bibo and also to Sido ✌️

King Mina Nubian House bevindt zich op 17 km van Aswan High Dam en 24 km van Tombs of the Nobles, en biedt kamers in Aswan. The whole stay was perfect they made everything easier

Crystala guest house bevindt zich aan het strand in Aswan, op 23 km van Aga Khan Mausoleum, en heeft diverse voorzieningen, zoals een tuin, een terras en een bar. The host was extremely warm and polite. Hospitality at its peak. Arrangement for various local trips (Aswan + Abu Simbel + Transfer to Luxor) were also taken care of by him at a decent price on short notice. Chatted with him on Egyptian culture, people etc which enriched the experience for us of the whole trip. Loved our stay.

FADL Kato ligt op 22 km van Aga Khan Mausoleum en minder dan 1 km van Nubisch Museum, en is voorzien van kamers met airconditioning en een eigen badkamer in Aswan. We really enjoyed our stay at FADL KATO, with a beautiful location over looking the Nile, and a very accommodating host who helped us a lot by recommending restaurants and places to go to on the island and booked for us transportation to Abu Simbel and other trips. Would really recommend the place.

Nuba Heart heeft gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en biedt uitzicht op de tuin in Aswan. Located in the Nubian village, very quiet, ideal for resting. Very clean and spacious rooms. Very rich and abundant breakfast on the terrace with beautiful views. We also had dinner there at a very convenient price. Tamer took care of managing all the tours and making sure it was all good. His family is very nice.

ABU Guest House bevindt zich in Aswan, op 23 km van Aga Khan Mausoleum en 600 meter van Nubisch Museum, en heeft een tuin en een terras, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. We very liked Abu Guest House. Abu and the staff (Abu's family) is very friendly and always available and helpful (giving advices). We also recommend the excursions that they are proposing: visit of Botanic garden, tombs of nobles, Nubian village. The Elephantine island is a quiet place that we liked very much. Thanks to Abu for his hospitality. We felt like at home.

La Terrace bevindt zich aan het strand in Aswan, op 22 km van Aga Khan Mausoleum, en heeft diverse voorzieningen, zoals een privéstrand, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Mohammed was a very great host, we enjoyed our time here. Terrace view was perfect, car transfers were arranged even though we arrived past midnight. We have large luggages which Mohammed arranged for guys to carry for us from the Jetty to the homestay, that helped as there were many stairs. Before/After crossing the river though, you may have to figure out how to carry up the rest of the stairs on your own. Just a point to note as no review mentioned this. Still, overall experience was great!

Airkela Nuba Dool 2 heeft een tuin, een privéstrand, een terras en een restaurant in Aswan. Very kind and attentive staff. Convenient location next to ferry to mainland. Excellent view of the river, boats, corniche, sofitel cataract hotel. Reasonably priced laundry service. Powerful air conditioner and comfortable bed. Refrigerator in room was a welcome touch and I really enjoyed sitting on my terrace watching the boats on the nile. Rawia and her staff will do all they can to ensure you enjoy your stay as much as I did.
