The staff was very friendly and polite and the room pristine and with an extremely comfortable mattress .

Het 沐光小院智慧酒店 ligt op slechts een steenworp afstand van het Terracottaleger en biedt betaalbare accommodatie en gratis WiFi in alle ruimtes. Er is gratis privéparkeergelegenheid bij de accommodatie. Ontbijt was uitstekend, voor elke cultuur iets van zijn/haar gading. Mooie ruime kamers en hotel ligt werkelijk in schitterende oude stad. Op plein heel lokaal gegeten, wel goed kijken wat je besteld want er zitten vreemde zaken tussen (o.a. Ezelsoren, kippepoten, etc)

Centrally located in Xi'an, Honglu Garden Hotel is set just beside Xi'an City Wall, only a 5-minute walk from the Zhuque Gate and a 15-minute walk from Yongningmen Subway Station. Everything, the hotel is lovely, chinese style, stylish and clean room and good bathroom, bed was comfy, location was fantastic and staff were very helpful.

This Hostel is simply outstanding. I have had 31 days travel in China on this trip. I have stayed at hundreds of different hotels and hostels during 12 years travelling and working away from the UK over the last 30 years. Miss Lu, who runs East Coast Coffee Inn has been the best host I have ever encountered. The hostel is spotlessly clean, situated just across a quiet road by the Xi an city wall. It is a four minute walk to the Tibettan Guangren Temple. From there it is just another short walk to the City gate. Immediately left and you can stroll along by the canal and river where trees and very well kept gardens give a lovely evening atmosphere with singles, couples and families enjoying themselves. Many evenings women meet up and dance for a couple of hours to music from their recorder. Maybe 50 maybe 30 maybe more. It varies. But they dance classic and modern, fast and slow. In the morning others gather to spend time in Tai Chi. It is a fascinating sight. The hostel is super modern, Ms Wu uses the Internet to give you as many locations, all on maps ready to go, as you need. The water at the hostel is piping hot all day. Busses run from by the Temple. Next door to her are a totally delicious BBQ restaurant with a big, low cost menu. On the other side is her Coffee shop. The situation, though central to the best places to go to, is very quiet so you sleep like a log. I came to China for the history, culture and food. Ms Wu put me in touch with Mariano who took me on a tour. He has 2 majors, Spanish and English. His knowledge of Chinese culture and History is amazing. Really deep and good information flowed non stop for the afternoon. He is well worth trying to hire if he is available and his area knowledge saves you so much wasted time and money. Honestly his tour, tailored to you is very cheap but seriously Interesting. There are plenty of washing machines and dryers, 4 of each, all new on each floor. Soap powder supplied and all free.

Xi'an Simple Palace bevindt zich op 1,2 km van het centrum van Xi'an, op 14 minuten lopen van Klokkentoren van Xi'an, en biedt accommodatie met airconditioning, een terras, een tuin en een bar. Een prachtig verblijf met een binnentuin en een dakterras aan de binnenkant van de oude stadsmuur van Xi’an. Alles was op loopafstand, wat ook echt perfect was door de ligging. Het was er schoon en was er mooi ingericht. Bedden lagen ook goed!

JIAJIA HOMY+B&B biedt comfortabele accommodatie met uitzicht op de oude muur van Xi'an. In de hele accommodatie is gratis WiFi beschikbaar. Erg rustige locatie (iets te ver van het drukkere Xian maar daardoor ook lekker rustig). Personeel was zeer behulpzaam, deed allerlei pogingen om onze vragen te beantwoorden. En behulpzaam met het vinden van vervoer naar andere bestemming.
