From the check-in with the welcome rakija shot to the check-out after a great breakfast, this place offers the best guest experience. The room was spacious and spotless, the Wi-Fi signal was great, and the beds and pillows were super comfy and cloud-like. The overall experience was thought-through, and the attention to detail was impressive and rarely seen. The restaurant at the hotel had amazing food and an even better selection of wine and beer. The personnel was super kind and welcoming. This place is a true gem in the region.

It is a very warm hotel located in the center of Kranj. The rooms have been renovated, everything is very good, the room comfort and cleanliness are excellent. The staff are very helpful and friendly. You should definitely taste the Slovenian traditional dish Carniolan sausage at the hotel restaurant. I had to leave the hotel early on the last day, the staff prepared a bag full of breakfast for me and gave it to me. There were sandwiches, yogurt and apple in it. I was very surprised and did not expect it at all. I have never seen a hotel care about my breakfast. It was an amazing stay !

Just perfect! We were only passing through and decided to spend the night there due to problems with our car. Even though we arrived late at night and on short notice, we received a very warm welcome. The host had already turned on the heating in our rooms so we wouldn't be cold. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. In the morning, we woke up to beautiful surroundings (lake and mountains) and had one of the best breakfasts I've ever had in a hotel. The hosts are extremely nice and do everything they can to make your stay as great as possible. We regularly drive through Slovenia to get to Croatia and we will definitley come back to Bakhus! We 100 % recommend it!

The nicest and the most helpful host and staff you could ever ask for! After our arrival we got a welcome drink and some pizza bites and we got tons of tips for our trips (including maps and booklets). 😍 Each morning and evening there was a small treat waiting for us which was always super delicious 😋. The beds were so comfortable we didn't even want to get up in the morning 😀. The shared kitchen is very well equipped and always clean (you can also find a washing machine there which comes handy if you're hiking alot). Private parking lot for the guesthouse was a big plus and their pizzeria was also amazing! Honestly couldn't ask for a better stay.

We stayed at this fabulous place on our way from Italy to Bled Castle. Exceptionally clean, with everything you need in the room. Darinka, the host, is super friendly, and the breakfast excellent (eggs, cold cuts and cheese, buns and pate, yogurt and granola, fruit, pastry, coffee, orange juice). I’m so glad we stayed there, supporting local family business.
