Beautiful quiet location close to the Pekoe Trail. The host and his family could not have been more kind and welcoming. The guesthouse is well appointed and very comfortable . We had dinner and breakfast here. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Highly recommended 👌 and great value.

We visited Horton Plains and were looking for a place that felt safe, peaceful, and like home — and Tea Sprig Villa Boralanda was the perfect find! This is one of the newest and safest villas in the area, and from the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. We stayed for 2 nights, and what made this place even more special is that we were their very first guests — what an honor! 🙏 The family running the villa is super friendly, warm, and caring. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and made with so much love. The clean fresh air, hot water, and beautiful surroundings made us feel like we were in heaven. This place is quiet, clean, and perfect for anyone looking to relax and recharge. We’re so grateful for the hospitality and unforgettable experience. We will definitely come again. Evertlything about this place was to our satisfaction. Comfortable bed,pillow and quietness.The room though not big was spacious enough and we didn't feel cramped.The breakfast was excellent and varied and seved on the balcony at your convenince where you can enjoy the most awesome scenic view of the mountains. It truly is a wonderful sight even on a cloudy day. The staff too were eceptionally friendly and helpful and assisted us on a few occasions. The location too is very convenient for town and 9 arch bridge and little Adam's peak are both within walking distance. This place really suited our needs perfectly and as we plan to visit Ella again we are sure to stay here. Well done to the management of this place for giving their guests excellent value for money.

A nice big room with a comfortable bed and views out over the outskirts of the town and onto the tea plantations. There's also a common area with sofa and dining table. Breakfast that was included in the room price was good typical Sri Lankan. I also had an evening meal on both nights which was ok and saved me going into town but wasn't great if I'm honest. Location is around 15 minutes walk to Lovers Leap waterfall. And there's a bus stop a few minutes walk away where buses are every few minutes and cost 35 rupees in to the town centre.

Soo kind people, nice welcome the breakfast❤️‍🩹 was amazing, well made, and fruits from the garden🌼. Especially the juice😍 (soursop?treefruit) they made straight from their own garden was heaven so good.. We walked up from their place to the nine arches, then a beautiful walk to the arches of mountain little Adam we did that to, had super vegan diner in Ella, and walked back. Amazing nice long walk all together. Exactly our 'peace 😃of cake!🌿🌜

Serene environment, top quality service from the lovely owner, the room was immaculate with everything we needed and very picturesque. The host even provided us with tea, water and laundry service. Possibly the best place we’ve stayed in Sri Lanka, and do not be put off by the negative reviews regarding the driveway, it is easy via Tuktuk and worth it for the views and privacy. Their tuktuk shuttle is free and available 24/7 - thank you again for a wonderful stay ❤️ the best place to eat is Ella Siyapatha Hut Restaurant. This was the most authentic meal we had that was cooked by the gorgeous family. Truly an amazing experience if you’re in Zella
