Eastern gate homestay is a wonderful accommodation. The rooms are great value for money, including all facilities similar to a hotel. Comfortable mattress, big bed and clean facilities. The family also serves hygeinic food whenever requested. You can have hygienic food, local bundeli home food that is light and tasty. Meals made with unprocessed ingredients and tomatoes right from their garden. The family also arranges local e-rickshaws, autos, and cars for sightseing whenever requested at right rates. Dulhadev temple is just at a walking distance, and so is eastern group of temples. Western group is just 7 minute rickshaw ride away. It is a safe location, as we were all female travellers. Good value for money, stay to support local families and have enjoy the warm hospitable interaction with them

Maji Homestay is a very calm place in rural area of Khajuraho surrounded by green area, where you can find a lovely family that will make you feel like home. They will provide you delicious food most with organic vegetables grown by them and confortable accomodation room with good hot shower. If you need transport or anything, just tell them and they will do their best to attend you at the best way. There you can walk around to see the nature, go to the tree house, do picnic, sunbath with the rooftop view, make fire at night. It is a quiet farm house. It is the best choice if you want to rest and stay away from the noise of the city. At the same time is near enough to go to the historic and cultural places of Khajuraho, like temples and museums. I wish I could stay longer and wish I can come back one day.

This homestay is one of the most amazing places that we have stayed yet. The room is very spacious and incredibly comfortable and the bathroom is brilliant too. What makes the homestay even more special is the incredible family that run it, they are the most welcoming and friendly people you will meet! They organised tours for us, massages and made the most incredible food for us! We also played football with the local kids each night which was really fun! I would 100% recommend staying in Khajuraho Rancho! We stayed for 5 nights and could have stayed for weeks longer if we had the time

Best place we've stayed in India! Everything is clean! Like actually clean! And so comfortable! The rooms are spacious and have natural light, but are also fresh and cool inside even when it's hot outside. Screens on all the windows so we never had problems with mosquitoes. Very quiet and peaceful. The sunsets and stars are magical from the rooftop, and you can watch the local kids playing cricket. The garden is pleasant and we had fresh papayas from the tree. We were allowed to use the kitchen anytime we needed, and the homestay also offers delicious food at good prices. The wifi is good: electricity does cut out pretty frequently everywhere in Khajuraho but it generally comes back within a minute or two, and there is good cellphone reception at Prems Homestay so you can back up with data if you're a digital nomad and need to work. The area is about 15 minutes walk from the main road, a pleasant stroll past wheat fields and water buffalos and friendly children all saying hello. It's like stepping into the past, where everything is simple and kind and safe. You can also easily get rickshaws to pick you up if you don't want to walk. The value for money is fantastic, totally worth staying here even if it's a few minutes farther from town. Prems Homestay has two buildings and a range of rooms with different prices. We stayed in the cheapest one and even that was absolutely perfect. We spent 12 days and could happily have stayed more. Mr. Neeraj and Mr. Manu were so attentive and helpful, by the time we left they felt like friends. They cleaned every day, made sure we had everything we needed, and were also super respectful and chill, so I would have felt perfectly comfortable and safe even as a solo female. Mr. Neeraj speaks perfect English and can answer any questions. They were also kind enough to let us do early check-in and late check-out, and even helped us buy our train tickets. 1000% recommend.

We spent two nights in this homestay, we recommend it! The atmosphere is very family-friendly, we had a good time with the manager Roby. The host Abbas and his family treat you like a part of the family and do whatever they can to make you feel like home. Just be aware that this is a homestay, where you live like the locals do, which means it's a very different standard compared to western countries. Abbas welcomed me with breakfast and arranged a nice little tour for me for the day. The property is only a short walk away from the temples. The most spacious bathroom I had in India. The room was also very spacious. Good value for money.
