Wonderful accommodation hosted by a kind and welcoming Sri Lankan couple, and it truly exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel right at home. Their hospitality was second to none, and their attention to detail was evident throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the authentic Sri Lankan breakfast they prepared for us—it was absolutely delicious and a delightful surprise! Our favourite stay in Scotland! The guesthouse is in a very scenic and calm area. The room was comfy, stylish, and very clean. Loved the back patio with a quiet, peaceful view. Breakfast was tasty and well organised with orders taken the night before. The host was super friendly and welcoming, even accommodating our late check-in.

Crannaig House features a hot tub and free private parking, and is within 10 km of Lake of Menteith and 16 km of Loch Katrine.

Crannaig house is so nice and sweet, it was our first day in Scotland and that was perfect start of our trip! I liked the house itself and our room. Everything is extremely clean, new, quality linen, big fluffy towels, soaps, cream and shampoo by Scottish natural Highland Soap company. We also got a sweet present, homemade here in Aberfoyle. Please don’t hesitate to have breakfasts and dinner at Crannaig House, because Shaun is excellent cook and everything was so delicious! Also Shaun gave us some suggestions for our rout. Thank you very much and best wishes!

This was such an amazing find! The owner is very friendly and gave us some great tips for our stay. We ordered breakfast and it was very good! The building itself is beautiful and the room was extremely comfortable and spacious. Probably the best bed we had on our two week trip. The owner said that we could also use the fridge, although we didn't need to, but it could be useful for somebody else. There are plenty parking spots right across the street, next to a public park. Location is amazing, with several restaurants, shops, and good pubs right outside (it is still quiet, don't worry!). Loch Lomond and the castle park are also a minute away. I wish I could stay there for longer.
