I’ve never slept in a more comfortable bed. Everything was spotless, the amenities were great, and the owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. There‘s also a supermarked and a really good fish&chip shop right down the road. I can’t recommend staying here enough.

Close to both Kingussie Golf Club and Ruthven Barracks, Avondale House is situated in Kingussie and has spa facilities and garden.

The hosts are very wellcoming and make you feel valued guest. The breakfast has a rich selection of food. It is freshly prepared and served with style. The room is immaculately clean and tastefully furnished. B&B is located in the cener of Newtonmore, just around the food store. There are wonderfoul walking trails in the nature and a great Highland folk museum just 10 min walk from the house. You can have your car parked at the appartment. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay and would recomend it to anyone who loves nature and a comfortable accomodation. Thank you Laura and Bryan

Fantastic guest suite with all the amenities you could need! Hosts even leave a bottle of whisky so you can have a “wee dram” in the evening, and a great little box of snacks. Amazing attention to detail. Also had a washing machine which was very handy.

Ardlogie looks quite unassuming from the street, but once you walk thru the gate, you’re treated to a lively garden, home to chickens and pheasants (the chickens’ eggs provide you with a great breakfast), fruit trees, flowers. The home is warm, welcoming and completely unassuming—a perfect place to settle in and relax after an active day…or simple relax, read, nap and feel no pressure to do anything but “be.” (Just what we needed at the time.) The rooms are cozy and super comfortable with sweet views of the garden. And the shower is fantastic! Ardlogie is perfectly located for simple access to the restaurants, activities and facilities in Aviemore. And it’s close to many hiking trails and within driving distance to great historical sites including the Culloden Battlefield and the Clava Cairns. The breakfast menu is extensive and every meal is prepared individually. The food is superb, quite simply the best breakfasts we’ve had (and we always stay in B&Bs—not Airbnb.) I’ve saved the best for last: Kirstie and Kevin. They are five stars out of five. They’re fun, funny, friendly and the warmest people you’d be lucky enough to encounter—simply the best hosts ever. Their knowledge of the area and their joy at sharing suggestions are unparalleled. If you are lucky enough to find lodging at Ardlogie (and I suggest that as soon as you have your dates, reserve your room) you’re are in for a wonderful time.

Great location, comfortable clean and warm room. Added extras like breakfast items (porridge, juices and yogurts) tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge Really nice touch was some utensils in case of bringing a takeaway back As we stayed over the festive period there was even a cute mini xmas tree! The host checked in with us as well during our stay to check we had all we needed. Great spot

Everything in the room was well thought out and made for a very comfortable stay. Location was perfect. Nestled away in the forest, while only a 10 min drive to Aviemore.

We had a great time at RossMor, enjoying our stay in clean, very well-kept vintage rooms with views of the Cairngorms National Park. Thomas and Ben were lovely hosts who made every effort to make our stay special. Thomas also had really helpful hiking recommendations for the area. Grantown on Spey itself is also a much nicer town than e.g. Aviemore. The high-quality breakfast had a lot of different options to choose from each day. We definitely recommend RossMor and are sure to stay there again if we visit Grantown on Spey in the future!
