This wonderful guest house is near an authentic and not very touristic area of ​​the Chinese Wall. It is beautiful, clean and surrounded by nature. Jack and Sue are very kind and very nice, always available: they came to pick us up at the station and accompanied us to the wall, they did karaoke with us and cooked delicious meals. Beautiful area, easy to get to from station (walk down the wooden stairs) Host is absolutely amazing and speaks good English ! Definitely would recommend this place

We really enjoyed our stay here! The owner was really helpful - we missed the train in Beijing, so she helped us with an alternative route. When we arrived, we had dinner with vegetables from their own garden, and the next morning after breakfast she had prepared a lunch package to take on our hike to the wall. The location is really convenient, just a 10 min walk to one of the entrances near Gubeikou. You can choose to walk only there (already great) or pass to the Jinshanling area as well. The rooms where comfortable as well. Would definitely recommend!
