If you're in town to take advantage of the mountains and local sightseeing, this is the perfect place to stay in the Saas-Grund/Saas-Fee area. The woman who runs it is a gem of a human being and extremely accommodating and kind (she even helped me when I ran into some issues with the local transit system, which she didn't have to do), the rooms are simple but have everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the beds are surprisingly comfortable. The food is also exceptional. I ate one meal at another restaurant in town that was much more expensive, but not nearly as good as the food at Pension Heino. 11/10.

Fabulous room in a 300 year old characteristic building. Beautifully renovated. Lovely host and wonderful breakfast. House on road but don't let this put you off, as bedrooms on opposite side facing valley. Stunning view.Very cozy. Bed super comfortable.
