We spent our last few days here after our round trip through Albania looking for peace and quiet. And we found it. It was a dream come true. The villa is wonderful, renovated and furnished to a high standard and typical of the country. The hostess Kristina is very friendly and helpful. The mountain village of Old Qeparo is something very special. You can feel Albania up here. Less than 50 people live here. Everyone is so friendly and lets guests take part in life. There is a bar and two restaurants. Wonderful mountain hikes and beach visits to Qebaro Beach - in Kristina's beach bar, of course - are possible. The drive up the mountain to the village is a bit exciting at first, but we quickly got used to it and even enjoyed the special experience. Dear Kristina, we would love to come back.

The guest house was off the main drag, so nicely placed away from too much noise and tourists, but still a very easy walk down to Potami Beach. Our room did not have a view, but was instead nicely located next to a little garden. Being at the back of the building made it a lot cooler! There were a fair few mosquitoes outside, but the room had mosquito nets on all windows. The breakfast was fantastic - freshly made and varied, with new things on offer every day. Our hosts spoke no English, but we got by with Google translate. They were extremely kind and even shared their delicious dinner with me one day! We loved staying here!

Perfect location - just 3 minutes walk to everything (the sea, supermarket, restaurants) and at the same time not in the loud area. Strong wi-fi work. Perfect conditions for this price. The staff is easily accessible and helpful with all necessary information. Great view at the mountains around. Also good opportunity for breakfast and dinner.

Anna and Timios are great and warm people (not just hosts) - special thanks for your help, when I felt sick. The dinner they made to us was fresh and maybe the best meal we had during our week in Himare. Filoxenia is a great place for everyone who loves to be in harmony with nature and far away from the urban jungle in Albania. I came with an electric car and I managed to charge it, so I would say Filoxenia is EV friendly :)

If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Himare, I highly recommend here. The location was absolutely perfect, right beside the bus station for anyone arriving by bus, also only a 2 minute walk to the beach, and the main promenade. It was so clean, and had everything you could need. The host also could not have been better, she was so caring and kind, doing anything possible to improve our stay. She even allowed us to leave our bags at the Accomodation after check out, as we were waiting for a later bus that day. If you are coming to Himare, definitely stay here !

We had a great time at Lekas room. The location is perfect, super close to the beach and the town with restaurants. We got plenty of useful information from our host Vasalis. He had extremly good service and came within a couple of minutes if we needed anything. We also got help to park our car for free. We were also welcomed with fresh grapes, melon, plums and figs!
