We arrived late and left early :) We were traveling with our teenage daughter, our room was a double queen. I have not the slightest complaint. The room was renovated, spacious, the beds comfortable, very clean – no difference from a 4-star hotel if we talk about the room. For a short stop, we would choose this hotel without hesitation. The lady at the reception was kind and helpful, changed our room according to our request (we wanted the second floor), and was pleasant to talk to.

It's located right on a street with a great variety of interesting and quality places to eat and drink at different price points (breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night), with easy access to local buses that are very simple and easy to use (even if you have a ton of luggage and are public transportation challenged like I am). The whole place is clearly well maintained, cute, and clean. The bed was so comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Great water temperature and pressure in the shower. I love the inclusion of free toiletries and towels, with a self-help table in case you need something extra. The coffee in the morning is delicious, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Free access to the fitness centre and business centre is provided to all guests of the Comfort Inn Ballston. The hotel has a gift shop as well. Hotel was great. Staff at checkin was awesome and very helpful. Room was a good size and the beds were super comfy. Breakfast was great but the room is very small for so many diners. Close to metro station for easy access to DC and the shuttle service is great. Would definately recommend as a spot to stay.

You can reach various bus stops pretty easily and Takoma metro station is within walking distance.
