First time I stay at a place that is actually better than the photos! Absolutely incredible place, our best in Zanzibar by far. The villa in perfectly maintained, the chef’s food is best we had so far. Ralu and Lee and very welcoming. Really really recommend.

The place is clean and everything was good I will definitely go back again.

The units at the inn are fitted with a seating area. With a private bathroom fitted with a shower and free toiletries, some units at Chokoro House also feature a terrace. All rooms will provide guests with a fridge. We really really enjoyed our stay at Chokoro house and ended up staying longer than intended. The Chokoro house team is very welcoming, kind and professional. The breakfast was excellent. A nice mix of veggies, breads, eggs, and fruit. We never had the same breakfast twice. The room was just as pictured and staff cleaned daily with bug spraying in the evening. We never saw a mosquito in our room. The pool was refreshing, clean, and maintained daily. The location is right between the main road and the beach so either is accessible quickly. We would surely stay at Chokoro house again!

The air-conditioned guest house consists of 1 separate bedroom, 1 bathroom with a hair dryer, and a seating area. Guests can take in the ambience of the surroundings from an outdoor dining area. The guest house offers bed linen, towels and housekeeping service. MITI is a beautiful small bungalow resort very convenient located to the beach, being only a 3-5 minute walk away. The staff is so friendly and always ready to make your stay even more perfect. The restaurant has great food too, I even went back twice on a different occasion even though I wasn’t staying there. The grilled shrimps, chicken fajita and chicken wrap is a must! The bed is comfortable and big, the shower is great and there’s a hairdryer and a fridge in the room. They even do a second “clean up” in the room in the afternoon to make the bed, prepare the mosquito net and spray mosquito spray. Also has a very cheap airport taxi service for only 40$.

At the guest house, units have a outdoor furniture. Each unit is equipped with a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, while some rooms are equipped with a terrace and others also offer sea views. At the guest house, all units are soundproof. Really beautiful place, stunning design and style the whole place was crafted in. Every detail had been thought out. The service was first class and the food was good. One of the best hotel experiences in a long time.

Because of the beach, because of Tanzania sun but also because of the people. Peter is great and the staff is family. I know Simon since 2021 and now Elli, George and Abdul are also there. They are all great and our Simon is perfect!!!

Helwas is a small family hotel with a great, friendly atmosphere and top accommodation. We were group of 5 and we had amazing time at Helwas! Guesthouse No. 1 has five different rooms and one apartment in various categories, ideal for singles, couples, and backpackers. Great place to stay, steps from the beach and several restaurants and kite/snorkeling centers. Amina and Issa were very attentive and super friendly. The breakfast was excellent.

Located in Nungwi, on the quieter north east coast of Zanzibar, Game Fish Lodge is situated along the beachfront and features an in-house restaurant, bar and a sun terrace. Free private parking is offered on site. The hosts were very helpful and kind and the view was astonishing. Perfect place to enjoy and relax.
