Bellrock Lodge bevindt zich in Russell, op 12 minuten lopen van Long Beach en 400 meter van Christ Church, en biedt accommodatie met een barbecue, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en gratis... We liked Bellrock Lodge and this little village so much, we even extended our stay! :) It is worth staying longer in Kororareka Russell and especially at Bellrock Lodge, so let us tell you why: Bellrock Lodge is situated on a little hill (if you walk, there are a few steep meters) and because of that, you will have the most amazing views from your terrace over the coast. On clear days you will even see as far as Waitangi. The apartment and the terrace are quite spacious, even the bathroom offers more than usual space in rental properties. It is very nice equipped. The garden is beautiful so you also see beautiful garden greenery from the terrace. The hosts Catherine and Stuart are very kind and responded fast via WhatsApp. Their sweet dog Piper was also a great host and excited to offer play time with her favorite football and such :D Catherine and Stuart were always very hospitable, so for instance, if you get in a morning rain like us, getting new towels is easy peasy, just a message/call away ;-) The Lodge offers great amendities: laundry, dryer, DVD Library (great selection, we loved it), CD and Book Library aswell... To top it off, the Whirlpool and BBQ area are great, with superb views also. We loved to enjoy the Spa, especially on rainy days. In addition to that, we highly appreciated how thoughtful everything is equipped, there are umbrellas in the driveway, wineglasses from plastic for the Spa, different chairs (even comfy reading/TV chairs), more than 2 different towel sizes and many more things like that.. We have travelled a lot and Bellrock Lodge is one of our favorites. You nearly forget, that you are at a self-service accomendation because everything is so thoughtfully done. It is worth staying longer, you can experience a lot in the area, walk to the beaches from Bellrock if you want to, get groceries and have great restaurants/cafés in town.

Tiny on Access bevindt zich in Kerikeri, op 21 km van Opua Forest, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Absolutely loved staying here , so cozy and warm. The little details make a big difference. It was pouring with rain when we got there and the host pre heated it for us can't thank you enough.

Spotlessly clean and stylishly decorated. Lovely sunny living area and blackout blinds in the bedroom for a deep sleep. The bed was also comfortable.

Fantail River Lodge bevindt zich in Haruru, op 20 km van Opua Forest en 2,7 km van Haruru Falls, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Although the location was out of town (approximately 10 minutes), for us this was not a problem as we had a vehicle & it was in a very peaceful setting. The bed was extremely comfortable & was a king bed - room very clean & well set out. Our hosts were very accommodating & very friendly.

Paradise on The Strand bevindt zich in Russell, op 16 minuten lopen van Long Beach en 500 meter van Christ Church, en biedt accommodatie met een terras, gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Unbeatable location right at the beach. We had the whole upper floor of a beautiful home looking out to the Russell harbour. Karen was a fabulous hots, she provided a nice breakfast, her self made bread and fruits during the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at her wonderful home.

Top of the Bay bevindt zich in Paihia, op 14 minuten lopen van Te Ti Bay Beach en 11 km van Opua Forest, en biedt accommodatie met een terras, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en gratis... The location up the hill from the town offered a lovely view of the Bay and was very peaceful and private.

Taranaki ligt in Waihaha, op 31 km van Opua Forest, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een barbecue. Such a beautiful little spot in the middle of nature. If you need to relax, this is the place to be. You don't need a TV when having the view above the delta from your own balcony and bed. The chickens also come and say hi and the next morning you get a beautiful breakfast by Elizabeth with eggs from the happy chickens.
