At Gao’s, Yoneda and Soku’s warm welcome made us feel like we stayed with a family. Little Gao-chan was an angel, and we couldn’t get enough of him ❤️ Our room was a big 2-floor room with an AC. We were warm and slept well. The futons can be a bit unusual after western beds, but our backs were really happy with the experience and we rested really well. The guest house and the district are very quiet and allow for good rest. The accommodation is in an excellent location if you want to visit places in Kanazawa. You can reach most places by foot easily, and during rainy days you can use bus connections, as the area is well connected. In the end of our stay, our kind hosts gave us handmade gifts, which was incredibly touching.
