The simply furnished rooms at the Avra Pension have panoramic views over the Aegean Sea from their private balcony. They are air-conditioned and include an LCD TV and a fridge. Slippers and a hairdryer can be found in the private bathroom. The location was perfect. It is well connected to public transportation and the local beach is only a few minutes away. The location is excellent – close to the port and enough to everything you need, yet quiet enough to enjoy complete rest. Markos village is located in Ios Town, in the heart of nightlife and 5 minutes by bus to Mylopotas beach and port. It is traditionally built and offers panoramic views of the scenic town. Guests can enjoy a drink at the bar next to the swimming pool. The people were amazing. Highly recommend. So welcoming and helpful and an amazing environment

The manager is very kind. When I told him the mattress was too firm for me, within a few hours, he installed a memory foam mattress top that solved the issue. I'm thankful for that gesture.
