Refúgio Samauma heeft een tuin, een privéstrand, een restaurant en een bar in Manaus. We stayed at the Samauma Refuge with our family in the second week of August. We had a late flight from Rio and didn't arrive in Manaus until around 1 a.m. Lucas had no problem picking us up from the port of Manaus and sailing us through the dark to Samauma. It wasn't until the morning that we realized what a wonderful place it was. Every day breakfast included fruit, bread, and eggs, and the most delicious lunches with fresh fish. Lucas has lived here for eight years, and it clearly shows. He can arrange everything and is happy to do so, from excursions to delicious cocktails in the hammock. We enjoyed the Amazon, and perhaps most of all, bingo night in the village across from the refuge. We highly recommend this location and hope to stay there again soon. Thanks, Lucas!

Vista do Lago Jungle Lodge heeft een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een restaurant en een bar in Cajual. Amazing experience! We stayed for 5 nights and didn't want to leave. We really loved the place, the friendly staff, the breathtaking view. Throughout our stay, we were accompanied by the wonderful guide and translator - Cedar. From the first moment he helped with everything we needed, and with a lot of patience. He took us to fascinating activities and was a source of knowledge about everything related to the Amazon. Another energetic guide is Daniel, who makes every experience special and prepares a perfect caipirinha. An unforgettable experience!

This neat and very well looked after jungle lodge is not only beautiful and authentic but also safe in the sense of bad surprises by snakes or spiders due to intelligent planting. Everything is done for the comfort and authentic jungle experience of the guests - only 5 chalets although they have space for very much more. I will never forget bathing in the beautiful stream which becomes a river in winter. The food was amazing and the tours very personal and intimate. However the best thing about this lodge is the owner, Alexandre, whose has a big heart for the animals and nature surrounding him. He agreed not only to feed the starving neighbors dog, but came up with the idea of taking that poor dying animal to his beautiful lodge, to feed it and even provide medical care. This is what we did on my last day - we went to the neighbor and brought the thinnest dog which wouldn't even move to his lodge, we washed it, fed it and provided first help for its damaged skin and open wounds. Alexandre is a very special person with a big big heart - God bless him and give him strength and power to help and care for those who so badly need it. My stay was an unforgettable, unique and beautiful experience - I will definitely be back to check on the rescued dog, who we renamed Mariposa, meaning a big brown butterfly in indigenous language and spend more time in this beautiful place.
