Gästehaus Angela ligt in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, op 6 minuten lopen van Museum Aschenbrenner, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. All was great from the location, to the building itself, to the interior to the comfort of the room, to the service. Christmas decorations were everywhere in the hotel with the cinnamon and apple aroma spread in the corridors. We even got a small present from the owners. Breakfast was included every day. It was a wide buffet with milk/flakes, cold cheese/ham, vegs and bread. Desserts and fruits were also available as well as a good selection of teas, juices and filter coffee. The cook made us eggs every morning on demand in the way we asked be it omelette, boiled, sunny side or scrambled. The staff was very pleasant. The cleaning in the room was done every morning. I appreciated having a sink in the room despite our room not having a separate toilet/shower. To add we had a beautiful mountain view from our window. The beds were cozy and warm.

Conveniently situated 1.5 km from the Hausberg ski lift in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Hotel Alpengruss features a terrace, and free WiFi. Hiking and cycling trails are easily accessible. Good location, close to everything, you can walk to small river and have a relaxed time. Zugspitze and Eibsee are close and easy to visit (beautiful places!) We had room for 3 with balcony, very nice room, two armchairs made it more comfortable. Great breakfast, warm eggs are offered, a lot of fruits, tees etc. We received guest card of the region, that allows free use of public transport and discount on some attractions.

Het rustig gelegen Hotel Föhrenhof in Farchant bevindt zich aan de rand van een bos, op slechts 3 km van het Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It is a very beautiful place. We received a warm welcome from the host, with complimentary snacks. Very clean, big room, comfortable beds, chairs on the balcony where you can enjoy a gorgeous view. Free parking, nice pizzeria close by and a beautiful park with multiple trails just behind the hotel. The breakfast was rich with options and very tasty. We had a grand time!

Haus Huis'n bevindt zich in Grainau, op 6 km van Museum Aschenbrenner en 6,7 km van dalstation Zugspitzbahn, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en gratis... Very nice, helpful host. Super clean, excellent breakfast. Great views of the mountains and the village church. Located in the center of town near hiking trails and cog wheel train to the top of the zugspitze.

Pension Zeegershof ligt in Heiterwang, op 7,4 km van Treinstation Reutte Tirol, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een bar. The host were wonderful! Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend.

Ammergau Lodge ligt in Oberammergau, op 17 km van Kasteelruïne Werdenfels, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. Close to the city centre, great facilities and amazing cleanliness.

Gästehaus Lehnerer Grainau bevindt zich in Grainau, op 6,8 km van Museum Aschenbrenner, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. Very nice staff + nature! Recommend!

Appartement Pension Strolz bevindt zich in Bichlbach in de regio Tirol, op 7,7 km van Treinstation Lermoos en biedt gratis WiFi, een speeltuin, gratis fietsen en gratis privéparkeren. It might seem that I exaggerate, but we really had the time of our lives!! Thanks to the hotel, Simon, and the beautiful area. Me (27M) and my girlfriend(23F) could not have found a better place. We were well prepared (or so we thought) and knew exactly what to do, where and when, until we met Simon. He was super friendly and helped us refine our activities with secret local spots and choosing the right day for each activity. For my girlfriend and me this was perfect. (Even if you are not so well prepared Simon will point you towards all the gems exactly tailored to your wishes.) The appartment itself is super clean and recently renovated (while keeping the rustic alpine style). We loved the cozy wooden interior and the bed was very comfortable (including the pillows!!). I almost forgot the great view, see the photo. The location directly at the Fernpass road B179, was ideal for us. We had many things planned such as Zugspitze, Neuschwannstein, Drachensee, Partnachklamm, Breitachklamm and canyoning, which were all within 1h driving (many even much less). This was ideal for us and made a super action packed, beautiful vacation possible for us. Last but not least Simon made a custom mountainbike loop exactly to my wishes, which was one of the coolest (and hardest, cardio wise) experiences I have had in a while, completely for free. He has an amazing collection of bikes which you can borrow for free. With that I would like to conclude that I can only very much recommend staying here. Best wishes, R & E
