First of all i have to say that i didn’t look at the map while booking so i missed the fact that this guesthouse is not near any stores or restaurants. If I knew that maybe I wouldn’t book it and this would be a huge mistake! We loved this place sooooo much! We were lucky to be there all alone (me and my husband) without other guests and sometimes it really felt like home. Nice pool, nice beach, if you want anything to eat the amazing host Margaret has a menu of lunches and dinners and she is a great cook. This place is really for those who need some quiet private time. If you want to go for shopping and some other entertainment you can always ask for taxi to Nungwi. We did it once and then regretted cause this town was too busy and noisy we were happy to come back to Matumaini. Near the guesthouse there are couple of small zoos and also you can try several boat trips right from the guesthouse. Every day we had the nicest chats with Margaret and really enjoyed her company. All of the villa staff were very sweet. It broke my heart a little when we had to leave. Highly recommended, wonderful experience! Margaret we are happy to know you, miss you!

The room and the facilities are very comfortable. The breakfast is rich and delicious. The owner and his assistant, Viktor are exceptionally friendly and helpful in really everything. The biggest help was that Viktor arranged motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) every day to the beach. The price is 3.000. TSH. for one way. Thank you again Jusuf and Viktor for the cosy accomodation :)

Fantastic place! Well equipped and beautiful villa with cozy pool right in the front of the ocean. We stayed 5 nights, but this was not enough and we were sad to leave. Very friendly and helpful host and staff. Nice breakfast. I would definitely visit it again.

We liked everything but if we had to choose the best things it would be: clean room, big toilet, very secure house and nice people. The village where the villa is at the center of Kendwa 2 minutes walking to the amazing beach! The pool is small but clean and great for taking a dip!

The place is very nice and super clean, all the staff is amazing, super kind and they clean your room every day. It has a nice area for breakfast, all the facilities are good, aircon works well, wifi is fast, swimming pool is nice, it has sun beds, etc. The breakfast is big enough, there are different options, the location is amazing, just a short walk to a nice beach, and a few minutes walking from different restaurants. The people around the area are very nice and friendly, we felt safe walking around all the time. A big Thanks to all the people from Ondo House, specially to Ali and Hassan, they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable during our stay, they helped us to arrange taxi, helped us to go around the ATM, they are very kind and good people! I highly recommend this place, we will definitely come back next season :)

Staff is so welcoming and you can feel like home. They are ready to support you for any need you might have. The structure is nice and cozy and you can breathe the vibes of Zanzibar more than in standard resorts. Totally recommended

The host, that goes by the name "Crazyman", has a colourful and warm personality. He puts a lot of efforts in taking care of his guests, for instance through excellent and generous breakfasts, he helps guests getting to the beach, finding good (and cheap) places to eat, etc. The hostel has a good social vibe, and good facilities for hanging out in the common areas.
