We arrived at the hotel with a very smooth airport transfer organized by the accommodation. The hotel is a beautiful house in the style of old stone town buildings. The owners were of great company and cared for any of our needs. The restaurant for me was the top notch and very fairly priced. Overall for all of us was am amazing and relaxing experience.

We were thoroughly impressed. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities including a TV. The hotel staff were truly awesome - they were welcoming, friendly and always ready to assist with any request or inquiry. The location of the hotel is perfect, with stunning views of the ocean and easy access to the beach. The hotel's facilities and services were top-notch, with a fantastic restaurant serving delicious meals and offered a great selection of soft drinks and fresh juices. One of the highlights of my stay was the fantastic service provided by the hotel staff. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, and their friendly and attentive approach really made me feel at home. Overall, I highly recommend the Isla Bonita hotel for anyone visiting Matemwe, Zanzibar. First of all i have to say that i didn’t look at the map while booking so i missed the fact that this guesthouse is not near any stores or restaurants. If I knew that maybe I wouldn’t book it and this would be a huge mistake! We loved this place sooooo much! We were lucky to be there all alone (me and my husband) without other guests and sometimes it really felt like home. Nice pool, nice beach, if you want anything to eat the amazing host Margaret has a menu of lunches and dinners and she is a great cook. This place is really for those who need some quiet private time. If you want to go for shopping and some other entertainment you can always ask for taxi to Nungwi. We did it once and then regretted cause this town was too busy and noisy we were happy to come back to Matumaini. Near the guesthouse there are couple of small zoos and also you can try several boat trips right from the guesthouse. Every day we had the nicest chats with Margaret and really enjoyed her company. All of the villa staff were very sweet. It broke my heart a little when we had to leave. Highly recommended, wonderful experience! Margaret we are happy to know you, miss you!

The facilities are great. Pool with umbrellas and sunbed, shower, comfortable sofa chair near pool, so You can relax 100% On the beach- I can say ocean view- is a nice bar where delicious drinks&snacks are served. On the beach there are large sunbeds and umbrellas and a nice ocean breeze sparkling with beautiful colors. At night, the beach is climatically illuminated. It was our honeymoon and we chose the perfect place for it. The owner of the property-Monika, upgraded our room from Delux to Superior as a honeymoon gift - the apartment was beautifully decorated and a bottle of champagne was waiting for us as well. They organize for us an amazing honemoon dinner on the beach- we were very impresse. We like this residence, so much that we plan to rent the entire residence with a group of 10 friends for the next holiday. We would like to thank the Cast Away team for putting their hearts into every detail of our stay- everything was perfect. See You soon.
