Guest Houses in Phetchaburi

What an awesome place! Amazing owners, super accommodating, i.e. let us leave our bikes even though we arrived 4 hours early! locked them in a safe room, gave us lots of advice for areas to explore, were very kind,caring and interested in our travels. Gave us treats local to Petchaburi to try, offered to upgrade our room for a very fair price. They prepared, even though the owner was unwell (not contagious) and could of done with a rest, a specific vegetarian breakfast for us, going out very early in the morning to help us silly bike tourers beat the heat (they understood how important it is to us.) The place is beautiful and the city of Petchaburi is too, in such an ideal location. Amazing balcony sitting wathcing the river. Right across from the fresh market, so easy to walk everywhere. Next door to a cafe. We picked the budget cheapest room, so no window or fridge, but great wifi, good AC, great shower/bathroom. If you like Tv There is a big one hung in a good spot. Really comfortable bed and sheets, nice place to hang clothes. Perfect if you are looking for something cheap but you are also paying for excellent location and service outside of the room. Light even had changing colour temperatures :D so cool Thank you for providing a great accomodation Ignore the bad reviews on here! Banthai Guesthouse is one of the cosiest hostels I stayed at and so far my favorite in Thailand. It invites to hang out and relax, it's well equipped and clean. The owner / staff are welcoming and it was easy to rent one of their bikes to discover the city. The breakfast was a lovely surprise - I couldn't believe I got some fruits!

Everything was just perfect: spotlessly clean, cosy and well-designed room with attention to details. Lot's of space, both inside the room and in the lovely garden outside. Yammy breakfast at the terrace, welcoming host.

We had a great time in Phetchaburi. The location of White Monkey is perfect, located on a small, quiet street. There is a local market right across the river with a coffee place and breakfast options. We booked our stay quite spontaneously. When our room wasn't available, we were upgraded to another room free of charge. Our hostess was extremely friendly and so, so helpful. She helped us organize our travel onwards to Pran Buri/Sam Roi Yot National Park.
