It is really really nice and clean, all the details are there, the garden is so cosy and relaxing. Hosts are super nice and you can easily arrange all with them, bike, scooter, they take you to bus station, lady explains all on the first day and gives a map. And maintanance, all small details are there, clean room, water every day, tea in the evening.. they are example of how hosting should be.

Wow. Vawa Guesthouse has become one of my favorite places in Thailand. They did an amazing job of ensuring guests could have a relaxing time. The room is tidy, modern, and beautifully decorated, the AC and Wi-Fi work perfectly, the bed is big and comfortable, the bathroom has all the amenities you need (shampoo, conditioner, body soap, toothbrush, toothpaste... and more), and the whole atmosphere of the site is peaceful, especially thanks to all the trees and the chirping of the birds.

The owners are incredibly helpful, thoughtful and easy going. They do the extra for the guest experience in a genuine way. They showed me the surrounding areas, temples, landscapes and nice restaurants. If youn want to be a bit outside of the city and have a real thailand experience this is the place to be. You can also get to the famous waterfalls and nature park with the bus not far away. I will think back of my time there with joy.

Quiet location set back from the street but walking distance to sights... Thai-Burma railway about 5 mins and rail Bridge over River Kwai about 30min walk. Rooms very clean, spacious and comfortable. Our host let us keep our bags in storage there on the day we departed so we could sightsee without our bags as our train left late afternoon.

Noot’s was such a special stay! The staff were so friendly and ensured we were stocked with water everyday and comfortable. We rented a scooter downstairs for the day to sightsee the temples (recommend) we did a big loop on the bike starting at Wat Tham Khao Noi, Wat Ban Tham (lots of stairs, be prepared), Tham Phu Wa temple (amazing temple!!). Recommend getting the bus from the bus terminal to Erawan falls, takes about an hour (go to level 7, it won’t disappoint). Down by Kwae Yai River you can walk across the railway bridge and there are market stalls around. The room was equipped with everything we needed. We booked the room that has the balcony overlooking the street, i recommend this room. I would 1000% stay again here, the most homely place we stayed at on our travels in Thailand so far. If you are an Aussie, there is the Tavern across the road which plays all your Aussie sports so was handy in footy season!
