Very spacious apartment, lots of space and very often. The villa is so big that there is enough space for 3 more people!!! Lots of privacy, no one disturbed us, so we recommend it to people who like peace and quiet. Right next to it is the beautiful Anse Kerlan beach. You can hear the waves even in the bedroom. Beautiful sunsets. We will definitely come back!!!!

The whole environment is really beautiful! A very well maintained lush, tropical garden. From the terrace of our little house we could even see the sea. Despite the fact, that Naturalis lies elevated / uphill - the access road is very good! Easy and quick access! No matter if you are coming from / going to the airport or town ... or visit the island! The pool is also wonderful! And last bau not least - Roland is really a great host!!! We very much enjoyed the chats with him! Hope to see/visit him one day again! Thank you VERY much!!!

Exceptional hospitality ❤️ far beyond our expectations. We really enjoyed our stay. The location is in quiet neighbourhood just next to the beach. Oceanic View Apartments gave me a real feeling of safety and personal comfort. In my life I used to travel a lot and had seen many different self-catering establishments, expensive hotels and apartments. By the way, I stayed the first part of my trip at a good and quite expensive hotel, with breakfast and cleaning. Unfortunately, without such a fantastic view. One of the most important things over any kind of travelling is the safety of your stuff. Comfort comes after, because it is not comfortable to think that something can happen with expensive computers, cameras, documents and money. Oceanic View looks like a little fortress with walls, modern moving cameras, automatic switching light system and security. So my first and very important demand was satysfied. When I entered the territory, I got nervous, because my luggage was extreamly heavy! Two strong man helped me everywhere to put it up and down. But Maria and Brian helped me to put everything on the 3-d floor. They said: "Just relax, and don't worry". So it was true. My room had a really fantastic view. It was the biggest one. I didn't look the other rooms, but this one was good enought for everything. Cupboards for my many many dressings) Little table with big mirror, separate table with two comfortable chairs, nightstand, pretty evening lightening everywhere! The bad was also big and comfortable.Modern quite air conditioner, very gentle fan (believe me, fans can be very agressive), and of course two side fantastic view! This view showed me how people live on the Island and what they were doing. Very good experience! I would like also mention that you will be able to see night Beau Vallon and the Island. It is impossible to do it from the first line, just believe me. It was some kind of evening meditation when I was sitting very high in dark, drinking tasty cocktail, thinking about how things are going. No interruption, just relax.

Booking online is always a bit of a gamble, but the Forest Lodge is exactly as promised. All the photos are legit and it is indeed a very cozy guest house a bit away from all the noise, except for the many animal sounds from the surrounding beautiful forest. What we valued most while staying there for 12 nights was first of all the outstanding kindness and helpfulness of the manager and his staff. We were even lucky enough to have been offered a dinner, which was absolutely fantastic. As mentioned, we were very happy with the ambient and the abundance of space in the room/studio. Siting on the balcony and drinking your favorite morning/evening drink while watching birds and fruit bats flying all around is as good as it gets. We were surprised how well the staff maintain clean and tidy rooms as well as the surroundings of the house. We were also a big fan of the in-house drinks fridge, which is self-service. The only thing that could see some improvement in my opinion is the kitchenette. It is useful, but very basic. The stove is painfully slow. A gas stove or induction plate would be a superb upgrade. For some people, it should be noted, that there is quite a walk to the beach. There is a small local beach, but it is not as nice as the main one in Beau Vallon and it is not extremely close either. That said, we had no problem walking every day and using the bus. There is plenty of bus stops all around and it is a good way to explore the island. From the lodge to the main road is about 8-10 minutes walk, and a further 1 minute to the bus stop and another 2 minutes to the closest shop. The local beach is around 10-15 minutes of walking and the Beau Vallon beach is around 30 minutes of walking. If this is a problem for you, rent a car. There is free parking at the lodge.
