The accommodation is a small dream oasis just outside Porto, overlooking the Douro River. Every detail was perfect. Upon arrival, we were offered coffee. The room was spacious, the bed excellent. I truly felt a lovely sense of home. As an added bonus, there’s a terrace with a view where you can relax. I would go back there anytime!

The hosts were wonderful, friendly people, and their hospitality was exceptional. The property was as new with a great continental breakfast. Local restaurants were a short walk to the view of the ocean and incredible surf.

The location was great…nice and close to the Port Cellars and restaurants, walking bridge, and so much more. The deck and view was the very best part! It was just spectacular day and night! Communication with Marie at Guestready was great! And check- in instructions etc was pretty seamless. We had a little trouble getting in the door as it was a little finicky, but we figured it out with some pre-warning. The beds were very comfortable.

Everything was great! The location is little out of touristic centre which was nice but at the same time walkable distance. It took me about 20min to reach the main train station, São Bento, and about 13min to sunset spots by the river! Across the road is big supermarket and there are bakeries along the main road. The room was lovely! Since I stayed during hot weather, I appreciated AC! Everything was nice and clean too! Bathroom is kind a together with the bedroom, so no doors, but since I stayed alone for me it was no problem. Downstairs is a spacious, well equipped kitchen so that’s was convenient. And Cláudia was an excellent host! Very attentive, caring and sweet! During my stay I felt like at home! Thank you! :)

Porto is the most beautiful City! To the hotel: - Very close to the city center, but much more silent at night, as the place is in a side street with hardly any traffic. I slept like a baby. - Fully equipped kitchen with living room and TV in the middle between the rooms. You can cook your own meals or just enjoy a free coffee/tea and cookies. - The whole place is new, very clean and always taken care of. - Outside of the Hotel you have a spectacular view over Porto, you can drink your morning coffee on a seat at the stairs right at the view point. - On top of the hill of the hotel (very close) you'll find a tram to the city and also another spectacular view point. - Staff was very nice and helpful, also reachable via booking . com chat or phone. - Nice central place, you can reach everything on this or the other side of the river via foot. - Close to boats doing tours on the river. I recommend the yellow boats w/ Sandeman ad on it, better price. - There is a beach in 3 km walking distance at the riverside in the east of the hotel. Took me 25 min. to get there. - Every sunday there‘s a motobiker meeting at the river (on the hotel side), many beautiful machines to see. - I highly recommend this little restaurant named "Bacalhau" at Muro dos Bacalhoeiros 154, absolutely delicious with interesting food combinations. Situated at the river at the city side, a little away from the noisy tourist side at the river.

It was a great location. The apartment is clean with all amenities you need. A great host who is more than helpful, and great advice. There is a great home feel.
