Beautiful place in the middle of Porto Moniz. Bed was comfy, the room was spacious. Big bathroom and very nice owner. The breakfast was enough and tasty. There is no park spot for hotel but there is a public park spot which is free after 17:30. Our balcony has both mountain and sea view.

What a gem of a place.. so many extra special touches that made our stay exceptional. The place itself is simply divine in it's decor, extremely clean and the breakfast was outstanding. The warm and lovely staff really make you feel at home.

I liked a lot about the accommodation. It was new, so clean that it almost felt wrong to use stuff, good location, comfortable interior and facilities. Compared to other accommodations in Portugal this is well above average. Friendly host/owner who is responding quickly, super friendly and speaks English very well!

Loved Solar da Bica. The staff there are wonderful, the room was great. The breakfast was excellent, and I liked that they changed things up a little every morning. The sauna and pool was a real treat after a long day hiking. We also loved the little tuck shop in the reception where you could buy beers!

It's a nice apartment on the lower part of Prazeres. You will have a view on the sea and on some parts of the mountains. Lucky, there's a parking lot right next to the house and you only need 8 minute by foot to the next supermarket and pizza restaurant. The owner is very friendly and I was greeted with a clean apartment. There's a kitchen but it's only missing an oven. On the other hand, there are 2 big bedrooms, each with an own bathroom (shower and bathtubs). From there you reach Funchal within 45 minutes by car and the streets are in good condition. I made some hikes in the area and if you're not with a car, taxi (Bolt) there is no problem. Be careful about bus stops as I had trouble to find them. Overall I enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to everyone who likes to have a quiet environment and a more rural experience. For a more organised daily life, a clothes rack at the entrance would be nice so I don't need to put my jacket away in the bedroom.

Lovely place to stay on the hill side near Sao Vicente. Definitely need a car to stay here and it is a short drive into the town. Loved our stay here, it was clean, comfortable and had everything you need! Kitchen facilities were great.

The accommodation has basic things you need, but it is enough. We stayed there 7 nights and we loved it. Frederic is one of the nicest hosts I have ever met. The bathroom is cleaned every day. The room is big enough and the bed is comfortable. We had a nice and pleasant stay 😊
