The owner picked us up at the bus stop and welcomed us with a fresh drink. We were happy to stay at this villa. The room has everything you need, the ac, the fan and it was very clean. It is located a bit far from the center but we liked it even more, because it was super calm. The owner also dropped us at the temple entrance and picked us up from there on his tuktuk all at the price of pick me app. Then the other day he drove us to sigiriya and even packed us a breakfast to go (tip: put it in your backpack), showed us other places on the way back and then helped us arrange a jeep trip to the national park with the elephants. The breakfast and dinner we had there were delicious. The staff is extremely polite and friendly!

Sanji and Madhu were excellent hosts - From the time we stepped into the property to our departure, we were treated like family guests - We had all our Breakfasts and Dinners at the property. Everything which was served was excellent, prepared to perfection. The presentation was equally good. We discussed multiple topics in our 2 days stay with Sanjee and he showed us around the property. My daughter bonded so quickly with Yasashvi ( Sanjee/Madhu's 9 yr old daughter) that she still remembers and talks about her. There is also adorable large dog ( Windy ) as a pet - Madhu and her daughter accompanied us to Cave temples ( 4 min walk to reach the temple from the property ) and explained so many details / history / traditions of Buddhism. The climb to the temple is around 300 + stairs with Medium/Moderate elevation . During the climb we took photos of beautiful forest and mountains around the area. Rooms are excellent and with top notch conditions / amenities - Madhu , Sanjee are excellent hosts. I/my family would stay here again if we are in dambulla again - Do not miss to book this property during your visit in Dambulla.

This place deserves a 20 out of 10, if that was possible. From being greeted upon arrival with a fresh juice until being bid farewell by the incredibly friendly and professional owner everything was just perfect. Clean big room with all amenities even including a hairdryer. Cozy outdoor seating area. And the most lavish breakfast we were offered on our trip so far. Everything was perfect. The couple who runs the guesthouse is lovely. Breakfast was amazing and we also had dinner (I recommend it!). We were helped taking the bus to Kandy (bus stop in front of the guesthouse). The guesthouse is right in front of the temple and the caves. Highly recommended.

The property is 5-6 min walk from Cargill supermarket and 8-10 min from the city center. Perfect for a quiet stay. The premises are maintained clean. Host is very helpful, he can get you a tuk-tuk to anywhere, arrange safari or Sigiria trips or any other activities.

Great place to stay. Friendly owner, who takes care of all his guests, ensuring they enjoy the stay in his guest house and Sri Lanka. And helping to plan the visit for those who haven't yet specified their plans Place is close to the city centre but in quiet area with no traffic noise. Restaurant with delicious food available (best roti I have ever eat). Tuk tuk and taxi service available. I would recommend it for everyone who plans to visit Dambulla.
