Our stay at Jungdam was unique, to say the least. We truly enjoyed the Hanok experience with our 1.5 yr old boy. In the winter cold, arriving in a warm, floor heated Hanok where you can spend the night on the floor with the family as a whole has been a great experience for us. But what really made it a 10-star experience: our host. Personally welcoming us, making sure we are all good, and providing us breakfast in the morning. She also kindly arranged a taxi for us when needed. THANK YOU!

Amazing guest who told us about great food options (bingsu, makgeolli, bibmbap restaurants) and a Hanbok rental. He even helped us book some of these places. The family room is large, really comfortable and extremely clean. The breakfast offered by the owner is simple but healthy and traditional.

The owner was present and helpful (and speaking English). The location was very good in a auieter part of the Hanok Village - closer to the river). The Hanok's garden is very cozy.

The owner is very kind. He gave us a map of Jeonju and marked landmarks, cafés and restaurants on it. Without him we wouldn't get a taxi probably to catch our bus. Thank you very much for your help and kindness. I would definitely recommend it! :)

Everything! The location is perfect, right in the middle of the Hanok village with a lot of cute coffees and shops around. The owner was very kind, she welcomed us with an amazing tea and brought breakfast every morning with fruit and when we left she even got us a bag with snacks. Honestly was the best part of the trip around South Korea and the best guesthouse. I would come back for sure.

This place offers a rare opportunity to experience traditional Korean bedding. Even as Koreans, most modern lifestyles involve sleeping on beds, making such an experience uncommon. The accommodation thoughtfully provides a complimentary 10cm-thick foldable mattress to ensure extra comfort and support, which made our stay very enjoyable. The host sent all the necessary information to my contact before check-in, and although they were not staying on-site, they were always responsive and quick to resolve any questions or inconveniences. The location is unbeatable—right in Hanok Village, with all the major heritage sites within a 2-minute walking distance.
