Felt very homely, was basic but clean, comfortable and right next to the airport. The owner, Satomi さん, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the stay, helping to plan the best places to go as well as transport and making homemade onigiri for hikes.

An amazing place to stay for a vacation in Yakushima. The location is spectacular with a sea view, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The owners of the hotel are charming and help with everything we need, they helped us perfectly in preparing the visit to the island. The little pension is run by a lovely grandma and grandpa. Very welcoming, even though there was a language barrier, as they do not speak English, we managed to get the point across via translation apps. They offer yummy breakfast and can prepare nice bento for you if you ask for it for lunch. The location is great, near the airport, however car is optimal for the best experience. The location of the pension is close to all of the main routes and key activities. We were staying in the private bathroom room and were happy with the facilities.

Great place to stay! Easy to reach by bus. Very beautifull building right next to the beach. Our room was very big, kitchen area was clean and a nice place to hang out. The coffee was nice as well. Barbara is a very friendly and kind host who helps with all of your questions!
