We only had a light breakfast, as we are not use too full big breakfast, very nice. Location was beautiful looking over the Dale's, the room was comfortable and very clean, thank you to all staff.

Exceptional and beautiful.... Like a diamond in the rough... This place offers more than expected... The facilities are out of this world. The room was so comfortable and clean.. The bathroom was so clean and plenty of washing products in case you forgot your own.. Kitchen was fully equipped , I even washed up cos I didn't want to leave a mess.. Quiet place , nice welcoming front room downstairs. I would 100% recommend the Modern Nest for a stay and will definitely be staying there again when I visit my family Thank you so much and well done 😁

Lovely place, great position, free parking, wonderful staff who were extremely accommodating. The meal was EXCEPTIONAL. Amazing scotch egg starter, and the best rack of lamb for over forty years. The perfect overnight stay. Highly recommended.

This was an absolutely perfect stay. The breakfast was phenomenal and the staff is incredibly helpful and charming. The room was cozy and had great decorations and tons of little teas and coffees and cute pillows it was adorable. The view was great as well and the location really can’t be beat. It’s quite a happening spot but not loud at night.

I had five lovely days at the Victoria. The room is very cozy, with every amenity I needed. The big window overlooks the church cemetery, and I found the scenery peaceful and calming. The landlords of the Inn are warm and kind. I dined at the inn (pub downstairs) too and loved the food. I loved coming down the stairs before bed and having a half pint of mulled cider! Everyone I met at the Inn was friendly. I felt home.
