It was excellent and the whole property felt very well run. We stayed in the courtyard which had a length of patio providing furniture for every unit. The area was very well maintained gardens are neat and everything is ship shape! The access is well lit and parking is easy too. Staff very attentive. Perfect. Plus -Excellent Breakfast! Will return.

We loved everything. The building was amazing. The staff was brilliant. The food was lovely. The price was very good. The bathroom was lovely considering the age of the building (1542, I think) full walk-in shower with rainfall shower head and the water pressure was perfect. The hotel is above the pub on a main street in Chester, yet it was really quiet in the room.

Lovely staff, nothing was too much for them. Beautiful village location in the countryside yet a 10/15 min drive into Chester. Lots of nice country walks on your doorstep. Clean comfortable rooms.
