Wonderful stay at Hidden Gem!!!!! ---Location couldn't be better !!!! Just about 300 m. from Brugge train station, yet in a beautiful quiet green neighbourhood with charming houses . In front of the station you can take the Bus No 2 to the center (( get off at ''Djiver'' stop for'' Rosary quay ''and then a pleasant short walk to ''Burg'' and ''Markt '' squares )). Or you can take the ''shuttle Bus'' to center, ticket 1 euro, , 3 euro for the normal bus. (( getting ticket is easy, just tap your card on the small white device inside bus and that's all... no paper ticket )) ---Behind the house is the beautiful ''Lake of Love'' park, one of the must see in Bruges and crossing it you can make your way to all sights....If you wish a quiet coffee or drink, away from the crowds, by Bus No 2 get off at ''Jan Van Eyk.....''stop, or walk there ,in front of a beautiful square, magnificent church and canal view !!! Charming at night, too!!! ---Just outside the train station there is a Carrefour market.. ---Mrs Katrien, a far beyond'' kind and helpful'' hostess, a very sweet and geniously kind lady, offered us the most warm welcome ever together with important info and map and was at our disposal during all our stay ... prompt replies and exact directions before arrival....no words enough for her!! She is a diamond, indeed !! Talking with her was a huge pleasure !!! ---The house itself is so beautiful and inviting outside that and we felt happy the moment we reached the front garden door !!!! A green paradise-yard with table-chairs to sit and enjoy peace and relaxation !! ---The room is pretttier than in photos, very cosy, with 2 windows with beautiful views to the green back yard and a little far sight of the park and bridge behind the house ! Very relaxing !!!

Everything about this guesthouse is amazing! The building, the interior design, the room (we stayed in the Canal Suite), the location, the quietness, the breakfast room and the breakfast itself, and last but not least the host Sofie! She is an expert in hospitality, very kind, has good recommendation for restaurants and things to do while visiting and has a great taste in the details. Thank you so much Sofie for making our stay perfect!

The property is exceptionally equipped and the host has gone to great lengths to provide “all those little touches” that makes your stay prefect. chocolates on arrival, soaps, creams, coffee, homemade jams, mini bar, etc … We loved it!

Location is excellent. The building is very interesting. It is a former small factory which has been very well converted and extended, The location is perfect sitting between the Port and the Market Square. The breakfast was very good value. Ann is a charming, friendly, and helpful host/

Excellent base to explore the town and surrounding area with the tram around 500m away. The owners were superb in explaining everything. Breakfast was superb and fresh.

It was like living at home.Very cozy and Astrid was a wonderful hostess and very helpful! The location was excellent,so close to all the highlights.
